Is this rent-to-own?
No. KC Washer Dryer Rentals offers rentals only, not rent-to-own. You can rent a washer and dryer set, a single washer, or a single dryer without buying the appliances.

Yes. KC Washer Dryer Rentals offers full washer/dryer sets and single-unit rentals. You can rent just a washer or just a dryer if that is all you need.
How much does it cost to rent only one washer or dryer?
A single washer or single dryer starts with the standard $80 setup, delivery, and install fee and $40/month rental amount. If a different renter-specific price is approved, KC Washer Dryer Rentals can update the saved rental pricing before sending the setup agreement.
Can I rent just a dryer?
Yes. Dryer-only rentals are available in the Kansas City metro. This is a good option if your washer still works but your dryer stopped working or you are waiting on a repair or replacement.
How much is a full washer and dryer set?
A full washer and dryer set is $80 for setup, delivery, and install. Regular monthly rent is $40/month per washer/dryer set. First-month prorated rent is $20 for starts on days 1-14, $10 for starts on days 15-20, and $0 for starts on day 21 or later.
When do I pay monthly rent?
Regular monthly rent is due on the 1st of each month. The standard saved rental amount starts at $40/month unless KC Washer Dryer Rentals approves and saves a different renter-specific price.
Do you prorate if I start mid-month?
Yes. If delivery/activation starts on days 1-14, the first partial rent is $20. If it starts on days 15-20, the first partial rent is $10. If it starts on day 21 or later, that first partial rent is waived. Regular monthly rent is due on the 1st.
Is there a grace period for monthly rent?
Monthly rent is due on the 1st. A grace period runs through the 5th. After that, we may contact you about payment or pickup scheduling.
Do you rent gas dryers?
No. Electric dryers only (no gas).
What is included with delivery and setup?
Delivery, basic setup/install, connection where hookups are ready, and service support during the rental are included. We make sure the rental appliances are connected properly before we leave.
How fast can you deliver?
We typically offer same-week delivery for most orders. In many cases, we can deliver within 2-3 business days depending on your location and availability.
Do you install?
Yes! Professional installation is included with all rentals. Our team will handle all connections and ensure everything is working properly before we leave.
What payments do you accept?
We currently accept Cash App and Venmo only. Customers must have Cash App or Venmo to make payments.
What do I need before delivery?
You'll need a cleared laundry area with access to a standard 120V outlet for the washer and a 240V electric outlet for the dryer, plus proper drain connections.
What if it needs service?
Service and maintenance support is included for rental units. If your rental washer or dryer stops working, call us and we will schedule service support.
