How billing works
What counts as an active rental?
One active rental record counts as one rental, even when it includes multiple pieces of equipment. Unassigned warehouse inventory does not count toward the subscription.
Do higher tiers unlock more core features?
Every tier includes the same core rental workflows. The active-rental count determines the monthly subscription price.
When does a tier change take effect?
Tier changes apply at the next monthly billing anniversary. Adding a rental does not create an immediate mid-cycle charge, credit, refund, or automatic proration.
How does paid billing begin?
The free tier starts without a card. Moving to paid billing requires the seven-day transition, payment-method setup, and the tenant owner's separate recurring-billing authorization.
Are payment-processing fees included?
Rivet subscription prices exclude separate renter-payment processing fees where applicable. Review Rivet's current Billing Terms before authorizing paid billing.
